  • How to store your sterling silver jewellery

Sterling silver has a tendency to tarnish. Tarnish happens as a result of silver jewellery being exposed to oxygen and sulfur particles in the air. It is normal for silver jewelry to tarnish, but there are some ways you can prevent it.

    • Wear it as much as possible
    • Store in a cool, dry environment away from sunlight.
    • Use a polishing cloth to rub away the tarnish
    • Remove the jewellery before the child goes swimming! Chlorine in the water will react with the silver and cause it to tarnish or discolour.
